1 وَتَأَ ذ , aor. يَتَأُ, (K,) inf. n. وَتْءٌ, (TA,) He was heavy and slow in his gait, by reason of age, or by nature. (K.) Not mentioned by J. because esteemed by him not chaste. (TA.)
