وءد

5 توأّدت عَلَيْهِ الأَرْضُ ذ The earth, or the land, hid, or concealed him, and [ as it were ] removed him: (T, :) formed by transposition from تودّأت, [q. v. in art. ودأ]. (T.) See 8.
