(Kr, S, M, K.) [In the CK, ثَوَيْتُهُ is erroneously put for ثَوَّيْتُهُ.] ― -b2- And He lodged him; made him his guest; or entertained him as a guest. (M, K.) You say, أَنْزَلَنِى فَأَثْوَانِى ثَوَاآءً حَسَنًا [ He lodged me, and entertained me well as a guest ]. (T.)
