5 تثوّب تثوب ثاب ثوب : ― -b2- and تَثَيَّبَتْ: see 2, in the latter part of the paragraph. ― -b3- The former also signifies He gained, or earned, a ثَوَاب [or recompense, &c.]. (K.) But this is said to be post-classical. (MF.)
