ثنى

ثَنَوِىٌّ ثنوى ثنوي rel. n. of اِثْنَانِ, and of اِثْنَا عَشَرَ, when either or these is used as the proper name of a man; as also ↓ اِثْنِىٌّ [with ا@ when connected with a preceding word]; like بِنَوِىٌّ and اِبْنِىٌّ as rel. ns. of اِبْنٌ. (S.) ― -b2- And الثَّنَوِيَّةُ [ The Dualists; ] the sect who assert the doctrine of Dualism [الا@ِثْنَيْنِيَّة]. (TA.)
