ثعل

أَرْضٌ مَثْعَلَةٌ ذ A land in which are many ثَعَالِب [or foxes ]; (S, K;) like مَعْقَرَةٌ meaning “ a land in which are many عَقَارِب [or scorpions]; ” (S;) as also مُثَعْلِبَةٌ. (K in art. ثعلب. [But see this last word.])
