وَقَعُوا فِى تَعَاتِعَ وقعوا في تعاتع , [app. pl. of the inf. n. تَعْتَعَةٌ,] They fell into convulsing perplexities, arising from evil and discordant and false rumours or the like, (فى أَرَاجِيفَ, q. v.,) and confusion. (AA, S, K.)
