ترب

3 تَارَبَتْهَا تارب تاربتها She became her تِرْب; (M, K;) [i. e.] she (a girl) matched her, namely, another girl; she was, or became, her match, fellow, or equal; syn. حَاذَتْهَا. (A, TA.) ― -b2- [The inf. n.] مُتَارَبَةٌ also signifies The associating, or consorting, of أَتْرَابٌ [pl. of تِرْبٌ, q. v.]. (K.)
