2 تَبَّعَ ا@للّٰهُ لِفُلَانٍ ذ , inf. n. تَتْبِيعٌ, May God make a thing to be followed by another thing to such a one, is said in relation to good and to evil; like سَبَّعَ لَهُ. (TA in art. سبع.) -A2- See also 5.
