4 أَتْأَرْتُ اـِلَيْهِ النَّظَرَ ذ I continued to look at him time after time (تَارَةً بَعْدَ تَارَةٍ): (T, TA:) or I looked at him sharply, or intently. (Fr, T, M, K.)
