سوى

سِوَاآءٌ ذ : see سِىٌّ, second sentence, in two places: and سَوَاآءٌ also, in the latter half of the paragraph: ― -b2- and see سِوًى. ― -b3- بَعَثُوا بِالسِّوَاآءِ وَاللِّوَاآءِ means (assumed tropical:) They sent seeking, or demanding, aid, or succour. (K in art. لوى. [The proper signification of السِّوَاآء in this instance I do not find explained.])
