سوق

سُوَّاقٌ ذ Long in the سَاق [or shank ]. (AA, K. [See also أَسْوَقُ.]) ― -b2- And (assumed tropical:) Having a سَاق [or stem ]; applied to a plant. (Ibn-Abbád, K.) ― -b3- And (assumed tropical:) The طَلْع [or spadix ] of a palm-tree, when it has come forth, and become a span in length. (K.)
