سهج

مَسْهَجٌ ذ [like مَسْهَكٌ] A place where the wind passes along [or blows violently ]. (AA, S, O, K.) AA cites, as an ex., the saying, اـِذَا هَبَطْنَ مُسْتَحَارً مَسْهَجَا [ When they descend into, or enter, a place of confusion, or perplexity, where one is unable to see his right course, a place where the wind blows, or blows violently ].
