(IAmb, Msb.) And اِبْنُ السِّنَّوْرِ The دَرِص [or دَرْص, i. e. kitten, or the like ]. (T in art. بني.) ― -b2- A lord, master, or chief; (M, K;) in some copies of the K, سِيد is erroneously put for سَيِّد; (TA;) a chief of a tribe: (Sgh:) pl. as above.
