سنح

غَارَةٌ سَنْحَاآءُ ذ [app. as meaning An incursion into the territory of an enemy taking by surprise ], accord. to one reading of a trad., is from سَنَحَ الرَّأْىُ [expl. above]: but the reading commonly known is سَحَّاآء [q. v.]. (IAth, TA.)
