سمط

2 سَمَّطَ see 1, in two places. ― -b2- سَمَّطْتُ الشَّىْءَ, inf. n. تَسْمِيتٌ, also signifies I kept, or clave, to the thing: hence a verse cited voce دَرِينٌ. (TA in art. درن.)
