سم

مُسَمَّمٌ ذ , applied to a [girth such as is called] وَضِين, Having three سُمُوم, i. e. loops (عُرًى) [ attached to it ]. (TA.) And also, thus applied, Adorned with سُمُوم, i. e. strung cowries. (TA.)
