2 تَسْمِيمٌ ذ signifies The making loops to the [ girth called ] وَضِين. (TA.) [You say, سمّم الوَضِينَ He made loops to the وَضِين: see the pass. part. n., below. And also He adorned the وَضِين with سُمُوم, i. e. strung cowries: see, again, the pass. part. n.]
