سلق

مَسْلُوقَةٌ ذ , meaning A skinned fowl cooked [i. e. boiled ] with water, by itself, [and also any boiled meat, is agreeable with a classical usage of the verb from which it is derived, but] is [said to be a vulgar term. (TA.)
