سكت

سَكْتٌ ذ an inf. n. of 1 [q. v.]. (S, &c.) ― -b2- And [hence,] A division [or pause ] between two musical sounds, or notes, without breathing; (T, K, TA;) as also ↓ سَكْتَةٌ. (TA.) -A2- See also سِكِّيتٌ, in two places.
