(K, TA: [in the CK, for سَفْعَةٌأىْ عَيْنٌ, is put سَفْعَةٌ أَوْ عَيْنٌ.]) One says, بَهِ سَفْعَةٌ In him is a touch of madness, &c. (S.) And أَصَابَتْهُ سَفْعَةٌ An evil eye smote him. (K, TA.)
