سفح

[ مَسْفَحٌ ذ A place where water is poured out, or forth; and where blood, and tears, are shed: pl. مَسَافِحُ.] One says, لِلْوَادِى مَسَافِحُ The valley has places where it pours out, or forth. (A, TA.)
