سدو ند سدى

سَدْوٌ ذ inf. n. of سَدَا. (S, M, K.) Hence, سَدَا سَدْوَ كَذا or يَسْدُو سَدْوَ كَذَا: see 1. And خَطَبَ الأَمِيرُ فَمَا زَالَ عَلَى سَدْوٍ وَاحِدٍ i. e. [ The prince, or commander, recited an oration, or a harangue, &c., and ceased not to keep to ] one proserhyme. (M.)
