سدل

سَنْدَلٌ ذ , or سَمَنْدَلٌ, (accord. to different copies of the S,) A certain bird, that eats [ the poisonous plant called ] بِيش [generally applied to the common wolf's-bane, aconitum napellus ]: on the authority of El-Jáhidh. (S.) [See also art. سمندل.]
