سِخْنَةٌ ذ : see the next preceding paragraph. ― -b2- One says also, عَلَيْكَ بِالأَمْرِ عِنْدَ سِخْنَتِهِ, meaning (assumed tropical:) [ Keep thou to the affair ] while it is in its first state, before it become cold [i. e. unmanageable, like cold iron]. (L.)
