سخل

سُخَّلٌ ذ (Az, S, O, K) and ↓ سُخَّالٌ, (Az, O, K,) applied to men, Weak; (S, O, K;) bad, vile, or base; (K;) or low, ignoble, mean, or sordid: (Az, O:) a pl. having no sing.: (Az, S, O:) or its sing. is ↓ سَخْلٌ: (K, TA: in the CK سُخَّلٌ [like the former pl.]:) so says Khálid. (IJ, TA.) ― -b2- Also سُخَّلٌ, (CK,) or ↓ سَخْلٌ, (TK,) [in the TA without any syll. signs,] Anything not completed. (IJ, K.) ― -b3- Also the former, (S, O, K,) in the dial. of the people of El-Medeeneh, (S, O,) The sort of dates termed شِيص, (S, O, K,) i. e. of which the stones do not become hard: (TA:) or, accord. to 'Eesà Ibn-'Omar, dates of which two or three grow together in one place, intermingling.
