سخف

أَرْضٌ مُسْخِفَةٌ ذ A land in which is little herbage: (ISh, K:) from سَخِيفٌ as an epithet applied to a garment, or piece of cloth. (TA.) [See also ارض مُسْحَفَةٌ, in art. سحف.]
