سحف

أَرْضٌ مُسْحَفَةٌ ذ , with fet-h [to the ح, or perhaps to the م and ح], A land of which the herbage is thin [or scanty ]: mentioned in the K in art. سخف, as being [written مُسْخِفَةٌ,] like مَحْسِنَةٌ. (TA.)
