سجر

سَجِيرٌ ذ (tropical:) A man's friend, or true or sincere friend: pl. سُجَرَاآءُ: (S, A, K:) from سَجَرَتِ النَّاقَةُ; because each of two friends yearns towards the other. (A.) ― -b2- And hence, (assumed tropical:) A sword. (Ham p. 265.)
