سجد

سِجْدَةٌ ذ a subst. from سَجَدَ; (S;) A species, or sort, [or kind, ] of سُجُود [as meaning prostration of oneself in prayer or the like]: so in the phrase سَجَدْتُ سِجْدَةً طَوِيلَةً [ I performed a long kind of prostration of myself ]. (Msb.)
