سبت

مُسْبِتٌ ذ Motionless; not moving. (S, K.) ― -b2- And, accord. to the L and K, Entering upon the day called السَّبْتُ [i. e. the sabbath ]: but correctly, entering upon the observance of the سَبْت [or sabbath ]. (TA.)
