ريه

1 رَاهَ ذ , aor. يَرِيهُ, (K,) inf. n. رَيْهٌ, said of the سَرَاب [or mirage], (TA,) It came and went; (K, TA;) [or went to and fro; or appeared to do so; ] or ran upon the surface of the earth: (TA:) and ↓ تريّه, likewise said of the سراب, [signifies the same,] i. q. تَرَيَّعَ: (S, K, TA:) or تريّه signifies it was made to run hither and thither, in no uniform manner: (IAar, TA:) or it glistened uninterruptedly. (TA in art. ره.) ― -b2- And He, or it, returned; like رَاعَ, aor. يَرِيعُ. (TA in art. ريع.)
