أَرْوَنَانٌ ذ , an epithet applied to a day, meaning Vehement in respect of anything, is of the measure أَفْوَعَالٌ, from الرَّنِينُ, accord. to IAar; but accord. to Sb, of the measure أَفْعَلَالٌ, from رُونَةٌ, meaning “ hardness, ” and “ grievousness, ” of a thing, or an affair, or event: it is mentioned in art. رون.
