رَغَّاآءٌ ذ (assumed tropical:) Loquacious: or loud in voice: (TA:) and ↓ رَغْوَانُ is [syn. therewith, or nearly so, being] a surname of Mujáshi' (K, TA) the son of Dárim, (TA,) because of his eloquence, (K, TA,) and the loudness of his voice. (TA.) ― -b2- Also A certain bird, (K, TA,) that cries much and uninterruptedly; (TA;) of the kind called دُخَّل; dust-coloured: its crying is termed ↓ رُغَاآءٌ: and the pl. is رَغَّااآتٌ.
