مَرْغُوثٌ ذ : see its fem. above, voce رَغُوثٌ. ― -b2- [Hence,] (tropical:) A man asked of, or begged of, so much that all that he had is exhausted. (El-Ahmar, JK, S, A, K.) And (assumed tropical:) Possessing little property. (JK.) And أَمْوَالُهُ مَرْغُوثَةُ (tropical:) [ His possessions are exhausted. (A.)
