Root entry · 1 derived lemmaرَاشِنٌ ذ i. q. طُفَيْلِىٌّ; (S, K;) i. e. One who comes to a feast uninvited thereto: he who watches for the time of food, and then goes in to the party when they are eating, is termed وَارِشٌ. (S.) ― -b2- And One who eats all that is upon the table of food; syn. مِقَمٌّ: in the K, المُقِيمُ is erroneously put for المِقَمُّ. (TA.) -A2- Also A small gift to the pupil of the صَائِغ [or goldsmith ]; in Pers, called شاكردانه [correctly شَاكِرْدَانَهْ]. (K. [ما يُرْضَحُ in the CK is a mistake for ما يُرْضَخُ.])
