رتج

مِرْتَاجٌ ذ A thing with which a door is closed, or made fast; syn. مِغْلَاقٌ; (S;) [app. a kind of latch: ] it is affixed behind the door, in the part next to the lock. (Ibn-'Abbád, TA in art. عربض.)
