ربط

هُوَ مُرْتَبِطٌ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنَ الخَيْلِ ذ He takes, or is taking, such and such [a number] of horses for the purpose of tying them, or keeping post, on the enemy's frontier. (TA.)
