قلع

1 قَلَعَ ذ and ↓ اِفْتَلَعَ He pulled, plucked, tore, wrenched, or rooted, out, or up, or off; detached; removed from his or its place; displaced; (Msb, K *;) eradicated; uprooted; unrooted. (K.) ― -b2- تَقْلَعُ (K in art. جذو) and تقلعُ السَّيْرَ (TA in that art.) [app. for تَقْلَعُ فِى السَّيْرِ], said of she-camels, (K ib.) [app. They raise their feet clear from the ground: see قَلِعٌ and قُلْعٌ: the pret. seems to be قَلِعَ: so if تَقْلَعُ be the right reading: but in a copy of the K it seems to be تُقْلِعُ: see جَاذٍ, art. جذو.
