اـِسْتِثْنَاآءٌ مُنْقَطِعٌ ذ An exception in which the thing excepted is disunited in kind from that from which the exception is made; contr. of مُتَّصِلٌ. ― -b2- مُنْقَطِعٌ: see مُرْسَلٌ.
