8 اـِقْتَنَصَ see 1, in two places. ― -b2- As being likened to “ the taking ” of the object of the chase, الاِقْتِنَاصُ signifies (tropical:) The taking anything quickly. (Kull.) ― -b3- [And hence, (assumed tropical:) The apprehending quickly. ]
