قنب

قَانِبٌ ذ The howling wolf. (O, K.) See also مَقَانِبُ. ― -b2- And A quick, or brisk, فَيْج [i. e. foot-messenger, or courier who journeys on foot ]; as also ↓ قَيْنَابٌ. (O, K. [In the CK, الفَيْحُ is put for الفَيْجُ.]) ― -b3- And وَادٍ قَانِبٌ [ A valley, or water-course, ] of which the torrent comes from afar. (O.)
