قفز

قَافِزٌ ذ Leaping, jumping, springing, or bounding. (Msb.) ― -b2- خَٰيْلٌ قَافِزَةٌ, and قَوَافِزُ, Swift horses, that leap, jump, spring, or bound, in their running. (K.) ― -b3- القَوَافِزُ The frogs. (Sgh, K.)
