Ex. مَا تَقَعَّدَنِى عَنْكَ اـِلَّا شُغْلٌ Nothing but business withheld me from thee. (ISk, S.) See also 4. You say also بِى عَنْكَ شُغْلٌ ↓ قَعَدَ Business withheld me from thee. (TA.) [And so,] ↓ مَا قَعَّدَكَ, and ↓ مَا ا@قْتَعَدَكَ, what hath withheld, restrained, debarred, or prevented, thee?
