قدس

1 قَدَسَ فِى الأَرْضِ ذ He went far away into the land, or country. (Bd, ii. 28.) -A2- قَدُسَ, aor. قَدُسَ , (TK,) inf. n. قُدْسٌ and قُدُسٌ, (S, A, K,) said of a thing, (TK,) It was, or became, [ holy, accord. to the most common usage, or] pure. (S, * A, * K, * TK.) [It may also be said of God, as meaning, emphatically, He is holy. ]
