6 تَنَاسَاهُ ذ He pretended that he had forgotten it: (S, KL, * TA:) and (TA) he forgot it; (MA, KL, * TA;) like ↓ نَسِيَهُ: (TA:) [or] he constrained himself to dismiss it from his mind.
