نيس

نَيْسَانُ ذ [vulg. نِيسَان] The seventh of the Greek [or Syrian ] months; (K;) [ corresponding to April, O. S. ] It is [said to be] a property of the water of its rain, that dough kneaded with it ferments without other treatment. (TA.)
