جَاآءَهُ مُنْكِدًا ذ He came to him unwelcomely: or, empty: or, as Th says, it is correctly مُنْكِزًا, from نَكَرَتِ البِئْرُ, though أَنْكَزَ as meaning “ his wells became exhausted, ” has not been heard. (L.)
