نفر

نِفَارٌ ذ a subst. from نَفَرَتِ الدَّابَّةُ. Ex. فِى الدَّابَّةِ نِفَارٌ [ In the beast of carriage is a disposition to take fright and run away at random ]. (S.) And in like manner, from نَفَرَ said of a wild animal. (Msb.)
