(K.) ― -b3- نافح عَنْهُ; (S, A;) and عَنْهُ ↓ نَفَحَ, (A,) inf. n. نَفْحٌ. (IAar;) (tropical:) He contended for him, or in defence of him; (S;) repelled from him, and defended him: (IAar, A:) as also ناضح. (TA.)
